feeling
she slices her skin,
to rid this numb state shes in.
she cannot feel her pain,
but it still remains.
blood runs down.
shes going to drown.
no matter how hard she strives,
shes only half alive.
it only works for a while.
but not long enough to smile.
will she be okay tonight?
will she ever be alright?
the pain may not stay,
but the scars will never fade away.
